Firstly, in a short period of two years, you will be expected to complete 3 subjects at H2 level and 1 subject at H1 level inclusive of Mother Tongue, Project Work and General Paper. With so many subjects to overcome, it can be potentially dangerous for you if you were to fall behind in any of the subjects at any point of time.

By hiring a home tutor, it keeps you focus and intact with your studies. You won’t have to worry so much about falling behind as there is always someone you can rely on for help and advice. Secondly, as subjects will only get tougher when you advance to JC, you would probably incur even more doubts than when you were in secondary school. As your school teacher needs time to complete the syllabus as well as respond to your classmates’ queries, you might be left out.
